ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST (UNION) - NSS

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking an Environmental Specialist for a full-time position at the John C. Stennis Space Center, MS. The role involves heavy cleaning duties, routine maintenance, and ensuring government property is protected. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Candidates will be part of a supportive team focused on meaningful work and employee empowerment.

Environmental Specialist will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs.





This position is first shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm at Stennis Space Center.





Essential Duties & Job Functions:


During execution of performance requirements, shall take precautions to protect all government property including furniture, walls, baseboards, and other surfaces.
Report all accidents to your supervisor immediately.
Keep all equipment clean and free from build/up wax and debris.
Think and wok safely and use wet floor signs at all times.
Secure vehicles and equipment at the end of each shift.
Assigned work will be performed as scheduled.
Reposition all items to original position when moved to facilitate cleaning

operations when performing all cleaning operations.
All other duties as assigned.
