Environmental Management Officer

Tanduay Distillers, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Management Officer in Murcia, Negros Occidental. Responsibilities include laboratory testing of wastewater, inventory management, compliance with laboratory practices, and participation in environmental training and meetings. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts laboratory testing of influent and effluent to ensure WTP settings will be adjusted to treat wastewater up to standard.Conducts inventory of chemical reagents, glassware, and other laboratory equipment.Cleans glassware, equipment, and other equipment within the laboratory to ensure compliance with good laboratory practices.Enrolls documents of the department needed to ensure consistent results/services are met in terms of WTP Laboratory Operation.Implements the action plans along with other responsible personnel to address findings.Participates in the EHS Committee meetings and raise concerns regarding environmental implementation.Assists in the preparation and the conduct of in-house environment awareness trainings.Familiarizes itself with environmental rules and regulations.Acts as liaison officer in the absence of the Environmental Management Unit Head.
