Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Jaguar Land Rover is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator in Dubai. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring workplace safety, developing policies, training employees, and coordinating with external agencies. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and experience in environmental health and safety management. A degree in a related field is preferred. The position offers a salary of AED 5K–AED 13K per month and is full-time.
At Jaguar Land Rover, we are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator. As part of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards and that our workplace is safe and healthy. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in environmental health and safety management. A degree in occupational health and safety, environmental, legal, or engineering, and/or relevant certification is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to environmental health and safety in the workplace

Monitor and assess the safety of the workplace environment, identifying any risks and taking appropriate action to reduce or eliminate them

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

Train and educate employees on safety policies and procedures

Investigate and report on accidents and incidents

Coordinate with external agencies and organizations, such as regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance

Maintain accurate records of safety information and reports

Monitor safety equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and up-to-date

Develop and present safety training programs, including emergency preparedness

Monitor and assess safety performance and provide feedback to managers

Assist in the development of safety-related budgets and cost estimates
