Job Description

Equitas Energy Partners, LLC is seeking a Contract Landman in Ohio. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The candidate will review public records, prepare various ownership reports, and stay updated on industry regulations. This contract position operates on a day shift and is remote.
Equitas Energy Partners, LLC (“Equitas”) is a Texas based full-service consulting and land services company. The Equitas team has decades of experience performing field support for oil and gas exploration and production companies, mineral acquisition companies, trust services, law firms and financial institutions.

Our team is currently looking to fill an immediate opening for a well-rounded contract field landman. The ideal candidate will be expected to have a strong desire for growing their knowledge as a landman, staying up to date with current industry laws and regulations and be a self-motivated individual that is committed to the growth of our team.

Location: Ohio

Experience / Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience as a field landman
• 5+ years of HBP title in Ohio
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Current member of AAPL
• Job Summary:

The candidate will be expected to not only thoroughly review public records and prepare reports based on their findings but also have a comprehensive knowledge of the processes associated with due diligence projects and acquisitions. Below is a list of some of the reports that will be prepared on a regular basis.
• Runsheet's for drill site and division order title opinions
• Mineral Ownership Reports (containing numerous depth and interest severances)
• Leasehold Ownership Reports (WI/NRI calculations)
• Lease takeoff's
