Tourism Expert

Mritunjay Constructions & Developers is seeking a Tourism Expert in India to enhance tourism activities under a project supported by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. Responsibilities include planning and promoting tourism initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders, conducting assessments, and organizing events. Candidates should have strong tourism knowledge, communication skills, and experience in project implementation. The position requires 100% travel and offers a salary of ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 per month.
Tourism Expert will support the planning, execution, promotion, and monitoring of tourism-related activities under the project supported by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. The expert will work closely with government departments, local stakeholders, tourism service providers, cultural institutions, and community organizations to enhance tourism potential and promote sustainable tourism practices across the project area.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare tourism development plans and destination promotion strategies.Conduct tourism potential assessments, visitor analysis, and market research.Support development of heritage, cultural, spiritual, eco, rural, and experiential tourism initiatives.Coordinate with government agencies, local bodies, tourism operators, hotels, guides, and community groups.Develop tourism circuits, itineraries, promotional campaigns, and visitor engagement activities.Assist in organizing tourism festivals, exhibitions, awareness programs, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.Prepare project reports, DPRs, presentations, progress reports, and documentation related to tourism activities.Support branding, digital outreach, and tourism marketing initiatives through print and online platforms.Ensure compliance with tourism policies, sustainability guidelines, and project objectives.Monitor project implementation and provide technical recommendations for improvement.Facilitate capacity-building programs for local communities and tourism stakeholders.Liaise with media agencies and tourism promotion organizations for publicity and outreach.Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of tourism development and destination management.Knowledge of tourism policies, heritage conservation, and sustainable tourism practices.Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in tourism project implementation and reporting.Ability to conduct field visits and interact with local communities.Proficiency in MS Office, report writing, presentations, and tourism documentation.Knowledge of tourism marketing and digital promotion strategies will be preferred.Fluency in Hindi and English.Preferred Experience

Candidates having experience in projects funded or supported by Government Departments, Tourism Boards, Development Authorities, CSR projects, NGOs, or international agencies will be preferred.
