CLIMATE ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Sustainability Strategist - LCA/EPD in Singapore. The role involves conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) to enhance sustainability credentials for suppliers and manufacturers. Key responsibilities include managing LCA models, supporting EPD preparation, and collaborating with project teams. Role Overview
We are looking for an LCA/ EPD Engineer to support suppliers and manufacturers in developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) through detailed Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). The role will help companies strengthen their sustainability credentials and meet international market requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for different products.
• Develop and manage LCA models for EPD preparation in line with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 14025/40/44/21930 and EN 15804 requirements).
• Support the preparation, verification, and registration of EPDs with recognised program operators.
• Collect and analyse manufacturing data and bill of materials required for LCA studies.
• Benchmark EPDs and provide advisory to clients for improvement.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Work with project teams and clients to translate LCA insights into comparative studies.
• Collaborate across teams internally to identify opportunities for EPD development within projects.
• Support senior on business development opportunities where required.
• Stay updated on developments in LCA, EPD standards, and sustainability trends.
Preferred Background
• Experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 14025, EN 15804, ISO 21930, and ISO 14040/14044.
• Background in sustainability, engineering, or environmental science.
• Ability to manage data, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate technical findings and advisory clearly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
