The University of Hawaii is seeking a part-time, temporary Lecturer in Tropical Conservation Biology and Environmental Sciences for the Hilo campus. Candidates must have a Master's degree, teaching experience, and preferably a PhD. Responsibilities include conducting graduate-level lectures and labs, with potential for distance learning. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities Conduct lectures and laboratories in graduate-level courses in Tropical Conservation Biology and Environmental Science Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Biology, Marine Science, Geography, or related field Teaching and/or mentoring experience Desirable Qualifications PhD in Geography, Biology, Marine Science, or related field Teaching and/or mentoring experience at the graduate level A minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience working with tropical conservation biology, environmental science, GIS, and/or applied remote sensing To Apply: Click on the "Apply" button on the top right corner of the screen to complete an application and attach all of the required documents.
