The State of Michigan is hiring a Geoscientist for a full-time position in Lansing, MI, focusing on site investigations and remedial actions at CERCLA sites. Candidates should have expertise in geology and hydrogeology, managing advanced site investigations and coordinating with various stakeholders, including the EPA and local governments. The role involves overseeing performance metrics and providing technical recommendations for environmental protection initiatives.
We are seeking a highly skilled Geoscientist to join our team in Lansing, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to work on site investigations and remedial actions at federal Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology and hydrogeology, with experience in conducting site investigations and remedial actions using established geologic methods. You will be responsible for managing/overseeing all aspects of advanced site investigations, remedial actions, and monitoring of performance metrics at federal Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) sites.

This position requires strong technical expertise and recommendations for Remediation and Redevelopment Division enforcement initiatives, division and departmental programs and management, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Department of Defense (DOD), U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), contractors and consultants, field personnel, local governments and the public.
