Senior Project Manager – Solar Deployment Programs
Solar Energy Partners is a rapidly growing renewable energy solutions and services company dedicated to accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future. We develop and deploy innovative solar and electrical infrastructure for residential, commercial, and industrial clients across the eastern United States.
Our commercial and industrial (C&I) division is expanding rapidly as we support large-scale solar deployment programs for regional and national customers. These programs often involve the rollout of solar installations across dozens or hundreds of locations, requiring strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and operational coordination
Role Overview:
Solar Energy Partners is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Commercial Solar Programs to lead the execution of complex commercial solar projects and support large multi-site solar deployment programs. This role will manage projects from sales handoff through final inspection and activation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring consistent execution across multiple project locations.
This role is ideal for an experienced project manager who is ready to expand into program-level leadership as the company continues to scale its commercial solar portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution
Lead execution of commercial and industrial solar PV projects from sales handoff through commissioning and project closeout. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource coordination to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate risks, delays, or operational challenges. Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements. Deployment Management
Support execution of structured multi-site solar deployment programs across commercial portfolios. Coordinate project execution across multiple locations to ensure consistent implementation and scheduling. Work closely with installation teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure projects progress efficiently. Client & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution. Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders across complex and multi-site deployments. Manage customer expectations regarding timelines, project milestones, and deliverables. Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and performance metrics to internal leadership and external partners. Lead project meetings, status calls, and coordination sessions with stakeholders. Team Leadership & Coordination
Provide leadership and coordination for project managers, project coordinators, and permit technicians supporting project delivery. Collaborate closely with internal teams including sales, engineering, procurement, operations, and finance. Support mentorship and development of team members as the commercial project organization grows Process Improvement & Program Development
Contribute to the development of scalable processes to support multi-site solar deployment programs. Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, reporting systems, and operational efficiency. Assist leadership in refining program management frameworks as Solar Energy Partners expands large-scale deployments Requirements:
5+ years of project management experience in solar, electrical contracting, commercial construction, infrastructure deployment, or similar industries. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects or multi-site deployments involving multiple stakeholders. Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project timelines. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. PMP certification or similar project management certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field preferred but not required. Schedule & Benefits:

Salary: USD 72000 - 108000 per year
