Senior Power Systems Engineer, Grid Studies

Fluence is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer for Grid Studies in Bengaluru, India. The role involves managing consultants and designers across projects, reviewing grid connection compliance designs, and requires a Master's in electrical engineering or 3-5 years of experience. Proficiency in power system analysis tools and knowledge of grid interconnection standards is essential. We firmly believe in having honest, forthcoming, and fair communications.Requirements for this position are:Ability to manage consultants and designers in sales, design, and construction/commissioning phases across multiple projects - tier one companies valued.Experience in review of grid connection compliance design.Master's Degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on power systems or renewable energy systems and/or 3-5 years of work experienceProficient in power system analysis and control simulation tools (e.g., PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB® Simulink®, PSLF, TSAT) including automating using python scriptingKnowledge of utility grid interconnection standards, such as UL/IEEE standards, North American ISO/RTO requirements, European grid codes, AEMO (Australia)Experience & ability to work In a high pressure environmentNEM Australia grid connection experience, especially BESS GPS and Registration experience is a plus
