Senior Lecturer - Climate Science

Murang’a University of Technology is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Climate Science. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent, three years of university teaching experience, and a minimum of 32 publication points. The role requires supervising postgraduate students and attracting research funds. This is a full-time position based in Murang'a, Kenya.
JOB DETAILS: Requirements for the position of Senior Lecturer Grade 13 • An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification (or a Master’s degree qualification in special cases) in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university • At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a lecturer or six (6) years research/industry experience; • A minimum of thirty two (32) publication points as a lecturer or equivalent; at least twenty four (24) of them from refereed scholarly journals; • Supervised to completion at least three (3) postgraduate students as a lecturer or equivalent; • Attracted research funds as a lecturer or equivalent; • Been registered with the relevant professional body( where applicable). Work Hours: 8 Experience in Months: 36 Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
