curriculum, with an emphasis on ecology, from January 2026.

Seeking a specialist to lead Biology prep, maintain greenhouses, and support fieldwork.

You will be responsible for preparing all Biology practicals, maintaining the school’s greenhouse and pond/ecology areas, and managing the specialized equipment (microscopes, models). This role is key to ensuring the success of A-Level practical endorsements and field trips.


Experience and Qualifications



Significant experience as a Science Technician, specializing in Biology up to A-Level.
Strong expertise in microscopy, dissection, culturing, and maintaining biological samples/ecosystems.
Excellent knowledge of CLEAPSS and safety regulations related to biological materials.
Proven ability to support and organize external fieldwork logistics.
