Aspirus Health is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst - Environment Strategy & Testing Coordinator to lead and support healthcare applications, focusing on Infor and UKG systems. The role requires strong knowledge of hospital operations, project management skills, and communication with clinical and administrative staff. Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking an APPLICATIONS ANALYST to join our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY team! The Senior Applications Analyst will be the leader and subject matter expert for specific content issues and solutions. Has a very strong working knowledge of hospital clinical and administrative departments, operations, and core process flows. Understands interactions and flows with administrative and financial systems. Performs project management activities as well as analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of assigned application software. Will be thoroughly familiar with the function and processes of their assigned departments and assist the customer department in the use of the applications at Aspirus, while working to maintain and/or improve patient safety, departmental workflow, and cost containment. Position involves extensive consulting and communication with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, technologist, and other clinical staff as well as clerical and administrative users, vendors, hospital management/administration, and outside agencies. The primary focus will be to support the environment strategy and testing coordination for Infor and UKG systems as well as any new applications related to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). HOURS : Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. This position is eligible for remote work; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered for employment: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of advanced principles of information systems and computer usage normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Science in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, and/or five+ years' relevant healthcare/IT experience.Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems. Previous teaching/training and project management experience.Experience with vendor upgrades, integrations, and regulatory changes.Environment strategy and testing coordination.ITIL course to be completed within one year of hire.HIMSS certification within one year of hire.Very efficient in using computer tools in a clinical setting required.Expert in healthcare assessment, planning, protocol development, standards, policies and procedures, quality control and inter-departmental issues and communications.Very strong working knowledge of hospital clinical and administrative departments, operations, and core process flows.
