Job Description

Rutgers University is seeking Open Rank Faculty for the School of Public Health, focusing on Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice. Candidates should have a PhD related to sustainability, environmental justice, or climate and health, with a strong record of scholarship and teaching experience. Responsibilities include supervising students and engaging with the community. The position is full-time, located in Piscataway, NJ, with a competitive salary and start-up funds.
Minimum Education and Experience:

The preferred candidate(s) will enhance, complement, and deepen our current department and School strengths, including but not limited to sustainability, environmental justice, climate and health, and education for sustainable development. Sustainability across environmental, social, economic, and/or governance as it relates to health is required.

Additional responsibilities include:

· A record of esteemed scholarship (including quality peer-reviewed publications, extramural research funding as Principal Investigator, and keynote conference lectures) · Experience and interest in teaching and learning, with a focus on student success and a commitment to equity in action. · Experience of teaching master's students. · Experience of supervising doctoral students and early career faculty. · Interest in community engagement.
