The Sales Manager - Commercial Energy Storage will be responsible for driving the growth of commercial and industrial solar business in California. This role involves developing strategic relationships with developers, EPCs, asset owners, and commercial enterprises investing in solar and storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial solar sales, strategic business development, and relationship management. This is a remote position based in California, with travel requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Market Expansion:
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive sales and revenue growth for commercial and industrial solar solutions. Client Engagement:
Identify and engage with C&I solar developers, EPCs, asset managers, and commercial enterprise customers in California. Consultative Sales:
Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solar and storage solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to align product offerings with customer requirements. Forecasting & Reporting:
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, track opportunities, and update CRM systems to provide transparency on performance and market trends. Industry Representation:
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to strengthen relationships and enhance brand awareness. Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Experience:
510 years of experience in commercial and industrial solar sales, working with developers, EPCs, and commercial enterprise customers. Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of solar and storage solutions, microgrids, and commercial energy management. Strategic Thinking:
Ability to identify market trends, analyze opportunities, and implement growth strategies. Travel:
Willingness to travel 3050% within California and occasionally beyond. Salary Range:
$120-140K + Incentives based on performance
