Renewable Energy Financial Experts

PwC India is seeking Renewable Energy Financial Experts for a Manager/Senior Associate role in Nueva Delhi. The position involves developing financial models and investment strategies for renewable energy projects, including solar and wind. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in renewable energy. As a Manager/Senior Associate specializing in renewable energy finance, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing financial models and investment strategies for a wide range of renewable energy projects. Your expertise in financial analysis, particularly in the solar, battery energy storage, wind, green hydrogen, and CBG sectors, will be essential for the success of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive financial models to assess the feasibility and profitability of renewable energy projects.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and risk assessment for investment opportunities in solar, battery energy storage, wind, green hydrogen, and CBG sectors.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and business development teams to integrate financial insights into project planning and decision-making.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and partners.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to shape investment strategies.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating financing arrangements, including debt, equity, and alternative funding mechanisms.
- Provide ongoing support for project performance tracking and financial reporting.
- Contribute to the enhancement of financial models and tools to improve decision-making processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field. A Masters degree (MBA/MSc Finance) or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in financial modeling and investment strategy, specifically within the renewable energy sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis for solar, battery energy storage, wind, green hydrogen, and CBG projects.
- Proficiency in financial modeling software and tools, such as Excel and financial analysis software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and policy frameworks affecting renewable energy investments.
