Investment Banking Analyst

Ethos Beath Chapman Idibu is hiring an Investment Banking Analyst in Singapore. The role requires 1-3 years of M&A or Investment Banking experience. Responsibilities include financial analysis, building financial models, preparing client presentations, and supporting equity and debt transactions. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. The position is permanent and full-time.

Responsibilities would include:
Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologiesBuild detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing, debt capital markets or M&A transactionsRegional coverage: Southeast Asia Support the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance Support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions including due diligence and drafting of documentsMaintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the Bank, internal and external stakeholders
Profile of ideal candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline1-3 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance / M&AAbility to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environmentStrong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision Detail oriented with good financial analysis skillsSuperior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skillsAnalytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
