Our client is a newly established investment platform focused on providing capital to leading carbon project developers globally. Having recently expanded into Dubai, they are looking to hire an Investment Associate to support the continued growth of their international investment portfolio.


The business partners with developers of high-integrity environmental assets, providing structured capital solutions in exchange for long-term interests in carbon projects. Backed by a strong institutional investor base and an experienced leadership team, the firm is building a diversified portfolio across global carbon and environmental markets. This is an opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of growth, working closely with senior leadership across the full investment lifecycle.


Responsibilities

Evaluate new investment opportunities across carbon and environmental assets.
Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses and investment cases.
Support due diligence processes, including commercial, financial and operational analysis.
Assist in structuring and executing investments from initial screening through to completion.
Prepare investment committee materials, market research and transaction presentations.
Monitor portfolio performance and provide ongoing analysis of existing investments.
Conduct industry and market research to identify emerging investment themes and opportunities.
Work closely with external advisors, project developers and strategic partners throughout the investment process.
Support fundraising initiatives and broader strategic projects as the platform continues to expand internationally.

Candidate Profile

2-6 years' experience within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Infrastructure Investing, Project Finance or a Principal Investment platform.
Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
Experience supporting live M&A, private equity or structured investment transactions.
Excellent commercial judgement with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant exposure to senior stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
An interest in sustainability, energy transition or environmental markets would be advantageous, but is not essential.
