Job Description
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their on-site team in Atlanta. Job Description
Opportunity to join a premier institutional investment team that allocates capital to leading asset managers around the world on behalf of the hospital. As a key contributor on a mission-driven team, the Investment Analyst will help steward the Long-Term Investment Portfolio that supports Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's mission of making kids better today and healthier tomorrow. The Investment Analyst will assist senior team members with the due diligence, implementation, and ongoing oversight of investment allocations.
Experience
• 1 to 3 years of related work experience in investment banking, asset management, financial services and/or consulting. Recent graduates may be considered if they have significant experience from relevant internships and/or student-managed investment funds.
Preferred Qualifications
• Progress towards a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Science, Engineering or a related field
Certification Summary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong intellectual curiosity and genuine enthusiasm for long-term, fundamentals-based investing
• Knowledge of financial terms and concepts, major asset classes, common investment strategies, and fund structures
• Willingness to take initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a time-sensitive environment while consistently meeting deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal abilities
• Comfort presenting analyses and perspectives to senior team members in both formal and informal settings
• Ability and willingness to engage in professional conversation with internal and external parties, including asset managers
• Willingness to travel for due-diligence meetings and other events
• High ethical and professional standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software applications quickly
Job Responsibilities
• Contributes meaningfully to a small, high-performing investment team by supporting the sourcing, evaluation, and monitoring of external investment managers across global asset classes.
• Works alongside colleagues to conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective investments and monitor existing investments.
• Undertakes thematic research to evaluate broad investment opportunities across asset classes, geographies, and sectors.
• Builds financial models and performs data analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Updates and maintains investment databases.
• Creates written reports and delivers oral presentations to colleagues during team meetings.
• Assists with portfolio construction, risk oversight, compliance, and cash management activities.
