Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting Preparation & Reporting

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is seeking a professional with 3-5 years of experience in Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR). The role involves managing data collection, validation, reporting, and assurance coordination in compliance with SEBI guidelines and global ESG standards. Key responsibilities include ESG data management, reporting preparation, and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with ESG frameworks are required. This is a full-time position based in New Delhi.

Role Purpose:

To manage end-to-end processes related to Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR), including data collection, validation, reporting, assurance coordination, in compliance with SEBI guidelines and global ESG standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.



Data Collection & Management




Collect and compile ESG data (environmental, social, governance metrics) from internal departments, including facilitation in data collection from value chain partners.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data aligned with BRSR Core and Comprehensive requirements.
Maintain centralized ESG data repository and dashboards.

Data Validation & Quality Assurance




Perform data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation to ensure integrity.
Implement internal controls and checks for compliance with SEBI BRSR guidelines.
Monitor data quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Reporting




Prepare BRSR report as per SEBI format and integrate with Annual Report.
Align disclosures with global frameworks (Integrated Reporting, GRI, etc.).
Develop visualizations and dashboards for management and stakeholders.

Assurance Coordination




Liaise with external assurance providers for reasonable assurance of BRSR Core parameters.
Ensure compliance with relevant assurance standards.
Facilitate documentation and evidence for audit readiness.

5.



Stakeholder Engagement




Collaborate with sustainability, finance, HR, and operations teams for data inputs.
Facilitate SOP preparation to standardise BRSR data collection & reporting.
Communicate ESG performance insights to senior management and external stakeholders.
