HVAC Field Technician- UAE

Raytheon Technologies is seeking an HVAC Field Technician in Abu Dhabi, UAE, responsible for the operations and maintenance of Environmental Control Units. The role involves technical assistance, equipment repair, and testing, requiring 6-8 years of HVAC experience and certification. This short-term position demands the ability to work in extreme heat and lift 50 pounds. A relevant degree or extensive experience is required.
What You Will Do:
The HVAC/Environmental Control Unit Field Technician is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the PATRIOT Environmental Control cooling Unit on the Engagement Control Station (ECS), Information and Coordination Center (ICC), Communications Relay Group (CRG), and Battery/Battalion Maintenance Center (BMC).
The Field
Technician will utilize the UAE Central Maintenance Facility test equipment for the repair and maintenance of the environmental control units that are evacuated to the CMF. The HVAC/Environmental Control Unit Technician provides technical assistance when requested by the Patriot Fire Unit and Battalion and assists with any equipment exchanges. The technician will support the testing, operation and repair of all Environmental Control Units. The technician may also support the testing, operation and repair of commercial off the shelf (COTS) Environmental Control Units. The technician will interface with equipment manufacturer for follow on support, on a required basis.
This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This assignment is for short term only.


Qualifications You Must Have:

A minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands-on knowledge and experience operating, maintaining, sustaining, and debugging of HVAC/Environmental Control Units.
HVAC Certification.
Must be able to work in extreme desert heat environments and lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications We Prefer

Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.

Experience living and working in an overseas location
Required Education:
Bachelor s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
