Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support our financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping the client make data-driven financial decisions, ensuring sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and trends, identifying risks, variances, and opportunities.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process across departments.
• Monitor and evaluate key financial KPIs, including cash flow, margins, and cost structures.
• Provide financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and pricing decisions.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and scenario planning to guide business strategy.
• Assist in financial audits, tax filings, and compliance-related activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, supply chain) to optimize financial outcomes.
• Support funding and investor reporting processes with accurate data and insights.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a finance analyst or similar role, preferably in a fast-growing startup or manufacturing/energy/cleantech sector.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Experience in a company operating in emerging markets or last-mile distribution.
• Understanding of clean energy financing and impact metrics is a plus.
