Environmental Technician

Ecosystems Environmental Services, Inc. is hiring an Environmental Technician in Mechanicsville, VA. Job Position Details

· Conduct inspections/assessments for biological or chemical contaminants (depending upon client’s need)

· Collect samples for the type of testing that is requested by the client

· Learn different sampling methods

· Documenting site observations

· Consulting with clients

Job Qualifications

· Authorized to work in the U.S.

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· Ability to climb ladders, access roof systems, and access attic areas

· Ability to crawl in crawl spaces

· Must be able to wear respirator

· Must pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check

· Comply with safety regulations and guidelines

· Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

· Professional oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals

· Experience in remediation, general construction, HVAC industry, or this field are beneficial but not required.
