Environmental Services Technician I

Come be a part of a team that is committed to improving the health of the communities we serve.\n\nMaintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by performing a variety of cleaning and disinfection tasks.\n\nFollow proper procedures for waste management, including handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.\n\nConduct routine inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.\n\nUtilize appropriate cleaning and disinfecting products to ensure a high level of cleanliness and infection control.\n\nCollaborate with other environmental services team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.\n\nAdhere to all safety and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.\n\nMaintain inventory and stock supplies to ensure an adequate supply of cleaning and disinfecting products.\n\nCommunicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or complaints.\n\nAttend training and educational sessions to stay updated on environmental services policies, procedures, and best practices.\n\nContinuously evaluate and improve environmental services processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\n\nSupport and participate in sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and promote environmentally friendly practices.\n\nMaintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times while representing Novant Health and its mission to improve the health of the communities we serve.\n\nAdhere to the organization's code of conduct and ethics, promoting a culture of trust, respect, and integrity.
