The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EHS regulations, with a proven ability to implement and manage health, safety, and environmental programs. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk management in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting. Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Mesa, Arizona and surrounding area. EHS Specialist Responsibilities Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Perform facility audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and resolve hazards, ensuring alignment with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Track, report, and analyze safety and environmental data to meet KPIs and reduce workplace risks. Administer the Workers Compensation program and lead incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions. Develop and deliver training programs to employees, ensuring understanding and adherence to EHS protocols and regulatory standards. EHS Specialist Qualifications 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory compliance requirements. Experience in risk management, injury/incident investigations, and implementing safety improvement initiatives. Associate degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is desirable. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
