What You Will Do:

Collect manage and synthesize environmental monitoring data

Prepare graphs, charts GIS maps, and statistical analyses to support data interpretation, reporting and regulatory complianceConduct environmental effects assessments and prepare written technical reports for both internal use and submittal to regulatory agenciesReview and evaluate field-collected data to support gap analyses and selection of remedial or mitigation optionsAssist with preparation of materials for community involvement activities and public/stakeholder meetingsTroubleshoot and maintain environmental monitoring systems and databasesMonitor performance reports for trends and conditionsIdentify and recommend corrective actionsParticipate in peer review of environmental documents prepared by other staff or consultantsWork with contractors and vendors to coordinate services and equipmentAssist with regulatory permitting activities and compliance auditsProvide support in identifying site risks and hazards and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risks
What You Will Bring:

Bachelors degree in environmental engineering or closely related field requiredZero to five years of experience in environmental compliance and/or permitting requiredStronge verbal and written communication skillsmust be comfortable speaking in public meetings and conversing with agency officials in humble yet confident mannerProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and statistical tools (Excel, R, or Python)Ability to use and manage environmental databases (e.g. EQuIS, EarthSoft)Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsProven ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBasic knowledge or mining operations and general environmental monitoring techniquesAbility to work outdoors in variable conditions and terrainDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to exercise sound judgement and discretionStrong teamwork and collaboration skills across disciplines What You Will Gain:
