EHS Coordinator

We are working with a growing manufacturing operation in the Oklahoma City market that is looking to add an EHS Coordinator to their team. This role will support safety and environmental programs while helping drive a strong culture of safety across the facility.


Position Overview:

The EHS Coordinator will work closely with operations and leadership to support environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This role focuses on maintaining compliance, identifying risks, and helping implement programs that keep employees safe and operations running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:



Conduct routine safety inspections across production and facility areas
Identify hazards and work with teams to correct issues quickly
Ensure proper use of PPE and reinforce safety standards on the floor
Support incident investigations and track corrective actions
Maintain safety documentation including SDS and compliance records
Assist with environmental programs and reporting requirements
Help manage hazardous materials and waste handling processes
Support safety training and employee awareness programs
Prepare reports and communicate findings to leadership
Assist with regulatory audits and inspections

Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Working knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance standards
Exposure to environmental programs such as Tier II, SWPPP, or similar
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both leadership and production teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools

Preferred:



Safety certifications such as ASP or GSP
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Experience supporting environmental compliance programs
