Environment Health and Safety Specialist

Jollibee Group is seeking an Environment Health and Safety Specialist in Cebu City, Philippines. The role involves implementing safety and environmental policies, conducting audits, facilitating training, and managing safety equipment. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, relevant certifications, and at least three years of experience, preferably in food manufacturing. The position is full-time and requires onsite presence in Danao, Cebu.
OverviewThe Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist will facilitate implementation of safety and environment policies and procedures including other systems that would enhance the safety and environmental performance of the organization.

ResponsibilitiesSafety Appliances (Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lights, Exit Signs) regular inspection and managementConduct of regular safety and environmental audits and facilitate closure.Assist and monitor progress of EHS programsFacilitate the conduct of EHS Training Calendar as scheduledConduct of Basic Safety Orientation and Contractors OrientationArrangement of other trainings as needed by the organizationImplementation of corrective & preventive actions on accidents and incidents, raised audit findings and observations.Attend to the needs and requirements of the ERT.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.Must have a licensed Chemical or Mechanical Engineer.Strong background in environmental and safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.Strong knowledge of DENR and DOLE permit processes.Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO3) and/or Safety Officer (SO3) certification is required.Must have a 3 years of experience in food manufacturing; however, candidates with relevant experience from other industries are also encouraged to apply.Willingness to be assigned in Danao, Cebu (Full Onsite)Pinnacle Quality Food Inc., the hiring entity, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation.
