The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to partner with a leading solar IPP in their search for a Director/VP Project Finance to lead the execution of their project financing strategies. Reporting directly to the C-Suite team, our client is looking for a candidate with experience leading and executing complex project finance transactions, including both debt and tax equity. With impressive capital backing and a growing pipeline of distributed generation projects across the US, it's a fantastic time to join.
Responsibilities:
• Lead both debt and tax equity transactions - coordinate due diligence, documentation, and execution to close
• Maintain and build relationships with third-party consultants, lawyers, and outside experts related to tax equity and debt financings.
• Furthermore, identify new financing strategies and opportunities.
• Solicit and review prospective term sheets from tax equity investors and lenders, and propose solutions to senior management.
• Review and design financial models, ensuring inputs are consistent with internal views and validated by third-party consultants
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required, Master in Business or Accounting preferred
• 4+ years of renewables experience, with a successful track record in project finance (debt and tax equity), with an emphasis on leading complex transactions to close
• Furthermore, demonstrated track record of leading and closing financings, and an in-depth understanding of debt and tax equity structures
• Additionally, understanding and ability to work with financial models and perform sensitivity analyses.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to a variety of external partners and internal parties (team, senior management, Board)
