Job Description
Eocene Environmental Group is seeking a full-time Environmental Project Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves coordinating environmental consulting projects, scheduling fieldwork, tracking construction activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills. The job may require some travel and offers compensation of $24 - $33 per hour based on experience.

JOB SUMMARY The Project Coordinator is a detail-oriented and highly organized professional seeking to advance a long-term consulting career. With a strong foundation in technical expertise and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, this individual will contribute effectively to various environmental consulting projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:
Track and coordinate on-going work and completing projects in a timely manner
Work with lead to coordinate and schedule qualified biologists for fieldwork
Schedule, attend, or lead and take notes for project meetings
Track and report construction activities
Documentation of compliance/non-compliance with resource protection measures
File daily reports
Coordinate with other relevant parties
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
Assist in safety compliance of field staff
Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership
Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures

Position may require some outside travel
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Resources, or closely related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with other standard office computer applications including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Outlook, Teams, and Word
Ability to perform work duties independently and efficiently
Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines
Highly organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, dependable, and trustworthy
Ability to interact and coordinate with multi-discipline team members
Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with ArcGIS/Survey 123
Experience working on construction projects
Experience with one or more of the following:
Biological Resources
Implementing and/or monitoring erosion and sediment controls including preparation and maintenance of SWPPPs
Cultural Resources
Soils
Restoration and reclamation
Experience in reading and understanding technical reports, maps, construction drawings, and other project materials
