About the Role The Climate Change Mitigation team works collaboratively with partners across London, nationally, and globally to embed and support action on climate change. The post holder will work closely with the team to develop new and innovative delivery mechanisms to accelerate decarbonisation. Job Description The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the process ensuring planning applicants comply with energy policies supporting the Mayor's target, set out in the current London Plan. This involves working closely with officers across the environment and planning teams at ENGINEERINGUK, engaging with key stakeholders including developers, consultants, and energy officers.
