Job Description
Harmonic is seeking a Carbon Fiber Technician for their Chilliwack, BC plant. Responsibilities include manufacturing carbon fiber parts, operating equipment, ensuring safety and quality control, and maintaining a clean work environment. Ideal candidates are team players with strong work ethics and organizational skills. The position is full-time, requiring in-person attendance, with a pay range of CA$18.50 to CA$30.00 per hour and various employee benefits.

As a member of our high-performing carbon fiber team, you will be joining the morning or afternoon shift. A carbon fiber technician will be responsible for meeting production KPIs, keeping a clean and organized environment, and managing processes.
You Are:

Key Accountabilities:
• Utilize carbon fiber to manufacture parts by preparing molds, laying up materials, and curing the laid-up carbon fiber parts.
• Operate equipment such as grinders, sanders, drill press, and media blaster in the post-cure area to finish parts to required specifications.
• Handle chemicals safely and effectively for various aspects of the job, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Work in a collaborative team environment, contributing towards achieving production targets and goals.
• Ensure quality control measures are followed throughout the manufacturing process to produce high-quality carbon fiber parts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials and chemicals.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in carbon fiber production techniques.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of the job role.
• Assist in other tasks and duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support team objectives

Pay: $18.50-$30.00 per hour
