Participate in departmental and university committees and activities.
Stay current with advancements and trends in transportation engineering and incorporate them into teaching and research.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
Provide leadership and contribute to the growth and development of the transportation engineering program.
Engage in community outreach and service activities related to transportation engineering.
Participate in the recruitment and retention of students for the transportation engineering program.
Maintain a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching, research, and service.
Comply with university policies and procedures and maintain high ethical standards in all professional activities.
Pursue external funding opportunities to support research and teaching efforts.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
Act as a representative of the university and the transportation engineering program in professional organizations and events.
