Assembly Equipment Planning 01/2025

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India is hiring for an Assembly Equipment Planning role in Pune, requiring 6-8 years of experience in automotive conveyor planning and execution. Candidates should have expertise in equipment design, digital simulation, and installation of conveyor systems. A B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or related fields is necessary. Proficiency in German or Spanish is a plus. The position is full-time and not remote.
Tasks

Role :- MBRDI Role (Equipment & Conveyor Planning and Execution)

Job Location :- Pune (MH)

Required Experience:-

- In between 6 to 8 years of Automotive OEM / Engineering service industry experience in Conveyor Planning and Execution in automotive domain (Vehicle Assembly, Outside shop, Paint Shop and BIW Shop)

- Equipment – Manipulator, Robotic Cell, Bemi Designing

Tool Skills :- Expertise required above 7 (on scale of 10)

- Conveyor planning and execution

- Team Center visualization

- NX

Technical Skills :-

- Conveyor system planning

- Conveyor system requirement study, concept preperation & digital simulation in Team Center visualization

- Experience in Planning and Execution of Equipment & Conveyor systems (EMS conveyors, Transfer systems, Drop Lifts, Skid Conveyors, Slat Conveyors, Door Line Conveyors, AGV Systems etc.)

- Experience in Digital simulation, concept creation for Equipment & conveyor systems

- Knowledge of Installation and Commissioning of Equipment & Conveyor systems

- NX and Teamcenter – Equipment & Complete end to end process simulation, Mannequin Task simulation

- Fixture design for conveyor systems in NX

Qualification :-

- B.E / B. Tech in Mechinical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Skills Expected :-

- Designing activity in NX

- Good hands on experience & Exposure to Equipment &Conveyor Planning

- Proficient in working in a CFT environment.

- Proficiency in German/Spanish Language is added advantage

- Handle multiple projects and good project management skills.
