Technicians primarily work at a wind site location near home and operate as part of a service team to ensure safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance.\nThis position reports directly to the Program Manager and Site Manager, and indirectly to the Lead Technician during assignments.\nTechnicians are responsible for performing all preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment safely and efficiently. This includes maintaining and repairing machinery or components used primarily in power generation applications such as turbines and generators.\nNote: You are not certified to perform work inside any cabinet/controller without direct supervision from a certified Electrical Technician.Additional duties may be assigned to support customer needs and to help advance Sky Climber’s mission, values, and long-term vision.\nThis is a full-time paid employment opportunity with all training provided upon hire, including:\n- Basic Safety Training (e.g., First Aid, CPR, Fall Protection)- Tower Safety Training (e.g., high-angle rescue or wind tower rescue)- Technical Training (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems)

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established proceduresDemonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safelyDismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipmentAccurately document all work performedFollow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) proceduresRequirements
