Wright-Pierce is seeking a licensed Water Project Manager for its Drinking Water team, responsible for managing municipal water and wastewater projects in New England. The role includes overseeing project execution, mentoring junior staff, and enhancing organizational standards. Candidates should have 10 years of relevant experience and a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering. The position offers flexible work schedules and a hybrid work environment.
Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Water Project Manager to join our Drinking Water team. This person will manage and execute municipal water and wastewater projects in Maine and throughout greater New England and can work out of our any of our office locations.
ResponsibilitiesManagement, oversight, execution of a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects.Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating small-to-mid-scale projects.Performing portions of large or complex multi-disciplinary projects.Applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Identifying opportunities to enhance organization's standards and delivery of services.Managing and mentoring junior-level staff.Performing research assignments, pilot studies as needed.Participating in water/wastewater industry professional organizations.Essential FunctionsEffective written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skillsPersonal organization and time management skillsProduce assignments on time and on budgetBuild strong relationships with coworkersCollaborate with others to capitalize on Company's collective capabilitiesEffective client relationship skillsExceptional proposal generation skillsExcellent attention to detailExperience10 years' work experience executing a variety of municipal and industrial drinking water and wastewater projectsExperience managing multi-discipline project teamsExperience with preparing proposals and scopes of workCertificationsLicensed Professional EngineerEducationB.S.
