Technical Program Manager - Climate and Sciences

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Houston, TX, to oversee a 50-person program for a Federal agency. The role involves managing project execution, delivery, and technical teams, while serving as the primary contact for government representatives. Insight Global is hiring for a Program Manager to manage a 50-person program supporting a science focused Federal agency based out of Asheville, NC. This individual will be responsible for managing overall project execution, delivery, and the technical teams both scientific and technology focused personnel. Responsibilities:

- Serves as the single point of contact for government representatives including the CO and the COR.

- Is responsible for the planning, implementing, monitoring, reporting, and quality control aspects of all project activities.

- Generates all management deliverables including project plans, cost estimates, work assignments and reporting.

- Assesses operational planning and guidance memorandums and ensure the continuity of services, quality standards, and deadlines are being met.

- Serves as the single point of contact for government representatives including the CO and the COR.

- Conducts meetings with COR, government PM, and Government Task Managers (GTMs) as required for reporting, planning, and technical oversight of tasks.

- Coordinates with the government customer for the provision of government furnished spaces and equipment, and HSPD-12 compliance.

- Ensures compliance with regulations and policies associated with contractor badging, annual training, organizational health, and emergency management protocols.

- Formal Program Management experience with management of multi-faceted science-based products and services projects.

- Experience developing requirements for environmental observations derived from end-user capability needs.

- Experience supporting senior leadership.

- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel).
