Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Senior level Water Resource Engineer in Boise, ID. Responsibilities include assessing water availability, conducting resource studies, and developing sustainable management plans. The role involves hydraulic and hydrological modeling, designing water supply systems, and collaborating with various stakeholders. One of our clients is looking for a Mid-Senior level Water Resource Engineer to join their team in the PNW. This candidate will be responsible for:
Assessing water availability, demand, and usage patterns.
Conducting studies to analyze water resources systems.
Evaluating the impact of population growth and climate change.
Developing long-term plans for sustainable water management.
Implementing water conservation measures and evaluate water infrastructure projects. They will also be responsible for Hydraulic and Hydrological Modeling and will use sophisticated computer models to simulate water flow in rivers, streams, and other water bodies. They will also design and oversee the construction of water supply systems.
Develop plans for water extraction, storage, and distribution and ensure communities have safe and reliable water resources. This candidate will also write engineering design reports, construction specifications, and implementation plans. You will also collaborate with government agencies, environmental scientists, and stakeholders and must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D. This role does require travel for assignments, including field work across the Pacific Northwest or Intermountain West regions.
