Sustainability Consultant

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to provide expert advice on sustainable solutions and implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact. The role requires a strong background in sustainability, problem-solving skills, and effective communication. Responsibilities include researching sustainability practices, monitoring initiatives, and educating staff. This is a full-time position based in Kansas City, MO, with a salary range of $60K–$90K per year.

You’ll also be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing sustainability initiatives that reduce our environmental impact and make us a leader in the industry.To be successful in this role, you’ll need a strong background in sustainability, knowledge of best practices, and the ability to think critically and solve problems. You should also have a desire to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

Monitor progress and effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with sustainability policies.
Generate reports and provide recommendations on sustainability initiatives.
Educate and train staff on sustainability initiatives.
Assist in the development of sustainability strategies.
