Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Sustainability Consultant in Mumbai, India, to develop and execute sustainability projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in sustainability or environmental compliance. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and staying updated on industry regulations. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join our team and help us build on our sustainability goals. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for sustainable development, a strong understanding of environmental regulations, and a demonstrated track record of successful sustainability project implementations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.The Sustainability Consultant will be responsible for developing and executing projects related to Burns & McDonnell’s sustainability goals. This individual will work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Consultant will need to be able to identify opportunities for improvement, provide effective solutions, and ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed. The successful candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field. They should have a minimum of five years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or related field, and be familiar with relevant regulations and industry best practices. They should have a strong understanding of sustainability principles, and experience with LEED and other green building certification systems. Previous experience in a consulting environment and excellent communication and project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute projects related to Burns & McDonnell’s sustainability goals.
Work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Identify opportunities for improvement, provide effective solutions, and ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed.
Manage and maintain client relationships.
Stay up to date on industry regulations and best practices related to sustainability.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as government agencies, non-profit organizations, and industry leaders.
Identify potential opportunities for sustainability initiatives.
Develop reports and presentations to communicate project successes and progress.
Develop and implement plans for measuring and tracking sustainability efforts.
Monitor the progress of sustainability projects and provide recommendations for improvement.
