Summary

The
Sustainability – Climate Resilience Analyst


is responsible to support the BGIS Manager, Sustainability and BGIS Manager, Climate Resilience in working to develop and maintain analytical tools to support Sustainability and Climate Resilience strategies and initiatives in these areas.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Sustainability and Climate Resilience

• Main analyst providing support to the BGIS Manager Sustainability and BGIS Manager Climate Resilience.
• Responsible for participating in the development of the Energy, Sustainability and Climate Resilience Action Plan (ESCRAP) for each year.
• Responsible for the maintenance and continued improvement for the existing Sustainability and Climate Resilience analytical tools including the Climate Risk Assessment Tool, Sustainability reporting relating to greenhouse gas production and waste management.
• Responsible for tracking the progress on fulfillment of deliverable of the ESCRAP including the following:
• Management of compliance of LEED Operational credits.
• Renewable systems management.
• Electric vehicle charger management.
• Storm water systems management.
• Waste audits and reduction plans.
• Tracking, analysis and reporting of the reduction measures implemented.
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong knowledge of the operation/maintenance of real estate infrastructure. (5+ years’ experience in environmental, and sustainability consulting, climate resilience or operations).
• Strong analytical skills including expert level experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong data management skills including MS Excel and MS Access.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

• LEED accreditation or similar accreditation would be an asset.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $63,397 - $79,246 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
