Your Role As a Sustainability Analyst you will be meeting business requirements related to PCF calculation in IMDS system through creation and maintenance of business data related to product structure and material composition in International Material Data System (IMDS), global automotive industry database. You will engage with multiple business functions, mainly Sales & Marketing, GSM, Operations & Engineering functions. Job responsibilities Calculate and analyze Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) for products and components Collaborate with suppliers to collect material composition and environmental data Ensure compliance with environmental regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and ELV Coordinating the IMDS activities globally. Communicating with external customers, external suppliers or internal stakeholders. Support audits and customer requests related to environmental compliance Knowledge in Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) in accordance with ISO 14040/14044 standards Your background Bachelors in Engineering (any stream) 3–5 years of experience in PCF, LCA, and IMDS/CAMDS Strong understanding of LCA methodologies and carbon footprint calculations. Working knowledge of IMDS/CAMDS system and material compliance processes Working Knowledge in Environmental regulations like RoHS, REACH, ELV, PFAS, etc,. Knowledge in plastic material properties and automotive/Manufacturing industry Certification in LCA or sustainability (preferred but not mandatory) Knowledge of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting Knowledge in ERPs desirable – SAP, QAD Knowledge in PPAP process desirable. Excellent communication skills. A good communicator, open for challenges, explores full potential to achieve goals. Team player who actively collaborate and contribute to achieve the team goals. Highly motivated and help the team to achieve the goals together Self-driven and strong passion in achieving results. Highly accountable for the actions and act as owner.
