Job Description
Stio is seeking a Product Compliance and Sustainability Analyst to manage the Centric PLM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance for product distribution and sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining product data accuracy, supporting cross-functional teams, auditing compliance documentation, and managing vendor certifications. The role requires collaboration with various departments and reports to the Sourcing & Production Director. The position is based in Maine.

YOUR ROLE
The Product Compliance & Sustainability Analyst (PCSA) at Stio operates from within the Centric PLM system as the central hub of the role, owning the integrity, infrastructure & daily operations of the platform that drives product data across the organization.
Centric is the PCSA's primary mode of work; sustainability & compliance responsibilities build from this foundation, ebbing & flowing seasonally to round out the role's scope.
The PCSA is accountable for compliance programs that enable domestic & international distribution and sustainability programs initiated by the brand, built on complete ownership of the PLM system & strong partnership with the supply chain.
The PCSA ensures the product engine data runs cleanly, transparently & with integrity, managing compliance documentation from supply chain through import, maintaining vendor-level certifications, and tracking progress against sustainability targets.
The PCSA partners with Materials, Design, Product Line Management, Development, Production & Operations and reports to the Sourcing & Production Director.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain data accuracy, completeness & consistency across all Centric modules as Centric SME Design & refine Centric PLM workflows to support seasonal product creation timelines Train & support cross-functional users on Centric processes & data standards Build & distribute reports from Centric to inform product decisions Troubleshoot system issues; escalate technical matters to IT as needed Document PLM processes, data entry standards & naming conventions Lead Centric API integration with Netsuite, Tullio, and Product Information Management platform (PIM) Audit product records for integrity at key seasonal milestones Manage RSL testing schedules & track results against regulatory requirements Maintain CPSIA qualifications & testing documentation necessary for import.
Manage vendor-level certification records (bluesign, OEKO-TEX, GRS, RDS, RWS) Manage Worldly Scope 3 including purchased goods and materials data and reporting (Custom CO2 data) Deliver product attributes to Logistics & Distributions to facilitate accurate HTS classification Coordinate certification renewals & new applications in partnership with Supply Chain & Operations Execute Stio's Digital Product Passport program (DPP) in partnership with functional owners (Sales, Marketing, OPPs).
Educate and inform Stio's plan to address the Textiles Delegated Act.
Seasonally compile data for multilingual care content and lot labels according to sales distribution Maintain existing product compliance standards for all channels, and set goals for future program advancement Attend industry webinars on regulations and content claim requirements.
Partner with Operations to stay informed of regulatory updates & convert to action for the product team.
Track progress against brand sustainability targets & preferred materials goals Own sustainability-related data & reporting responsibility to cross-functional partners Own EPA PFAS Rule & Report data compilation, including production volumes, disposal & hazards from 2011 to present YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education & experience 3-5 years of experience in product creation, product data management, PLM administration, compliance or sustainability within apparel or consumer goods Hands-on experience within PLM systems & product creation; Centric experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of RSLs, chemical compliance testing, CPSIA & textile certifications Familiarity with import compliance fundamentals (HTS, COO, duty programs) Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel & data reporting tools Detail orientation with ability to manage multiple deadlines across seasonal calendars THE FINE PRINT

The base salary range for this role is $75,000-$89,000.
It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
