Role Purpose

The Sustainability Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by delivering on their real estate sustainability aspirations. You will work closely within a client‑focused team and engage with our clients’ portfolio / asset / fund managers. This position requires excellent analytical skills when managing, compiling, aggregating and reviewing sustainability data to support our team in delivering actionable insights for sustainability reporting and benchmarking.

In The Role You Will — Responsibilities

Manage Data – Using our Sustainability Data Platform, work with our clients’ property managers, operating partners and other 3rd parties to ensure data is provided and maintained on a regular basis, including provision of reports to understand data completeness and data quality.

Process Documentation – Support the account team with producing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures on how data is managed and reported to produce Sustainability KPIs and Benchmarks, including data quality and completeness targets, workflows, issue resolution and data quality escalations.

Asset onboarding – Day-to-day responsibility for onboarding assets into the Data Platform, including providing training materials and onboarding guides for property managers, taking direct action to collect data where CBRE has responsibilities for infilling gaps.

Benchmarking & Reporting – Support the team when preparing benchmarking and quarterly reports for Energy and Sustainability.

Content review – Support the team with review and management of energy and regulation content provided to the client.

Person Specification / Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful reports.

Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess large volumes of data.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative mindset, enabling effective teamwork with various internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in a related field (engineering, business, real estate, sustainability, physical sciences, etc.) preferred.

Interest in learning and growing in the field of real estate sustainability.
