Position Summary The Social Media Specialist will support day-to-day operations, social media operations, content engagement, and growth in collaboration with the CIR Marketing Team. This full-time role plays a key part in strengthening CIR’s brand presence, visibility, and engagement across social platforms This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in social media management, marketing, or communications with a proven track record of successful engagement in the B2B, clean energy, or environmental sectors. This role requires excellent communications skills, strong organizational abilities, and a detail-oriented approach.


The ideal candidate will have prior experience in social media accounts, with a proven track record of academic success in the fields of marketing or communications.


Core Responsibilities Social Media
Engagement - Support daily social media engagement across company profiles with a primary focus on .


Like, comment, and interact with relevant posts from industry leaders, partners, clients, and target accounts to increase brand visibility and reach.Follow and monitor relevant companies, organizations and individuals aligned with clean energy project development.Monitor comments, mentions and direct messages, flagging engagement opportunities or questions for the marketing team.Proactively identify opportunities to build relationships and visibility through thoughtful engagement in industry conversations.Maintain consistent brand voice and professionalism across all interactions.
Social Media
Execution and Brand Presence - Execute social media strategies designed to grow audience awareness, engagement, and follower growth.


Maintain and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent posting cadence and alignment with marketing priorities.Support content amplification by engaging with posts after publication to help improve reach and performance.Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all social media platforms and accounts.Stay informed on platform best practices, engagement trends, and algorithm updates.
Content
Support and Coordination - Surface high-performing posts, articles, announcements, and industry news for potential resharing or engagement.


Coordinate relevant social media posts based on industry conversations, and work with Marketing team to develop timely and relevant content ideas and post.Support development and content strategy for individual employee posts and CEO platforms to help amplify content from the main company accounts.Communicate clearly and proactively with the marketing team regarding progress, challenges, and questions.Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time with minimal supervision. Paid Social and Campaign Support - Organize, execute and support targeted paid social campaigns with a primary focus on Ads.Assist with campaign setup, audience targeting, creative, and performance monitoring.Track and analyze the effectiveness of paid campaigns across social channels, making recommendations for optimization. Analytics and Reporting - Track and maintain social media performance metrics, including follower growth, impressions, engagement rates, and post performance.Prepare regular weekly and quarterly engagement and performance summaries for the marketing team.Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on analytics.Support ongoing optimization of posting times
