Site Manager (Energy)

Insight Global seeks a Site Manager for energy projects in Rose Hill, VA. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, strong EHS knowledge, and experience with electrical building fit-out and high voltage equipment. The role involves overseeing site safety and management, with travel required. Initially a temp-to-perm position lasting about 6 months, projects may extend to a year. Salary ranges from $54 to $65 per hour.
Must Haves:
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong EHS knowledge

-OSHA 30, able to ensure site safety
• Experience leading electrical building fit out
• Experience installing high voltage equipment for substations

-Open to either transformers, GIS, AIS, HVDC, FACTS
• Very strong communication skills
• Open to travel

-Will start as shorter term projects (around 2 months as a time), once they are doing full site management -> project length will be at least 1 year

Nice to Have Skills:
• Bachelors in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Strong electrical skills

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a site manager for one of our large energy infrastructure/grid solutions clients. This would be a 6 month temp-to-perm position. This person would begin focusing mainly on leading the electrical building fit out process on multiple of their sites. Eventually they would be tasked with full site management. They would oversee all aspects of the site, including installation of building, overseeing concrete work, and high voltage equipment installation. This person must have extensive EHS knowledge, to ensure the site is always safe and up to proper standards. Travel is required for this role. Initially, travel for projects would be around 2 months duration. Once this person begins duties of full site management, project length would increase to around a year or longer.
