Shift Lab Technician (Chemical MNC) | Jurong Island

GMP Technologies (S) PTE LTD is seeking a Shift Lab Technician for their Jurong Island location. The role involves operating laboratory equipment, performing tests for quality control, troubleshooting equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance. Candidates should have a Diploma in Chemistry and 2-4 years of relevant experience. The position requires strong communication skills and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts. Salary ranges from SGD 1,800 to SGD 3,000 per month.
Jobscope:

Operates laboratory equipment and instruments to performs laboratory tests according to described procedures for determining the chemical or physical characteristics as quality control, process control and/or product development.Communicate results to the relevant operations personnel.Responsible for trouble shooting on non-conformance of analysis data and trouble shooting of laboratory equipment and instruments.Preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentsRequirements:

Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of relevant work experienceExperience in the use of Automatic and Manual Titration-Equipment, GC, HPLC, pH-meters, AAS, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, TOC Analyzer, TGA and XRF are desiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWilling to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours shiftCandidates with no prior experience will be consideredTo apply, please visit to www.gmprecruit.com
