ReNew is seeking a Senior Manager - Project Management in Gurugram, India, to oversee land acquisition for solar projects. Job Description

Project Development & Project Management for Solar Business

As the Project Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the land acquisition activities for Solar projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Project Development, you will play a crucial role in securing the connectivity and creating a land pool for pipeline solar projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Access new opportunity for connectivity and Co-ordinate with land acquisition team for further developmentPerform project financial analysis, underwriting, due diligence and development tasks

Perform preliminary solar design and Solar project feasibility analysis

Coordinate and track solar projects under development or acquisition phase through construction and closing

Development plan for upcoming years with track of Connectivity and Land acquisition

Analysis for connectivity application at CTU,STU sub-stations

Provide support for project development activities and collaborate with different departments for land acquisition and related tasks for Solar projects.

Identify suitable developers/aggregators for Solar energy projects, with primary focused Sates.

Ensure adherence to statutes and regulations related to land, forest, and other related approvals.

Participate in drafting, finalization getting execution of Sale/Lease Deeds and such other agreements.

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including procurement, engineering, project management, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless land acquisition for Solar energy projects.

Handle interactions with local agencies and stakeholders to facilitate smooth acquisition and usage of lands for Solar energy projects until commissioning.

Preparation of Business case for Development project & ensuring the Management approval on proposal

On the business side, you should have the skills to conduct market research and competitor analysis, define and prioritize the project scope and objectives, estimate resources and budget

Develop project plans and schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders for successful project implementation.

Project Management

Day to day coordination with cross-functional team (SCM/Design/QHSE/Admin/Evac. etc) on project progress.Conducting periodic review meeting with various teams like design, supply chain, project execution team for ensuring the completion of the project as per the approved schedule.

Identify the critical risks in the project and work with cross functional team on the mitigation plan.

Support the corporate finance team in closure of technical due diligence for lender.

Cost Management

Detailed project cost estimation with coordination of Design, Supply Chain and Project Execution Team.Works on capex reduction exercise as per management plan.

Monitoring of project cost against approved budget. Works with cross functional team to ensure the closure of project cost within the approved budget
