Join Oracle's Global Sustainability Office as a Senior Manager for Sustainability Engagement to help advance our innovative sustainability strategy. In this dynamic role, you will enable business growth through effective internal engagement and impactful external communications. We are looking for an ideal candidate who excels in collaborative environments and can simplify complex environmental concepts into actionable insights that resonate with diverse audiences.
The successful candidate will be pivotal in creating internal training initiatives, supporting sales and customer-facing teams, and crafting external messaging that resonates with our sustainability objectives. This role merges strategic program management with communication prowess to boost awareness and drive significant impact across Oracle's global operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver tailored sustainability training programs and resources for various business units.
• Assist sales and customer-facing teams by providing sustainability-related materials, FAQs, and engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure sustainability messaging aligns seamlessly with Oracle's offerings.
• Design and implement employee engagement campaigns to enhance awareness of Oracle's sustainability goals and initiatives.
• Contribute to the creation of Oracle's voluntary sustainability reports and disclosures.
• Develop and execute external sustainability communication strategies to support annual reports and Oracle's broader narrative.
• Craft clear and impactful materials to effectively communicate Oracle's sustainability progress and commitments to customers, partners, regulators, and public stakeholders.
• Engage with customers, partners, and external communities on sustainability topics, showcasing Oracle's positive contributions and addressing concerns related to data center development.
• Analyze sustainability-related data to identify inefficiencies, generate insights, and establish relevant targets.
• Support cross-functional sustainability initiatives to ensure timely execution and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Manage cross-company engagement and training programs to foster awareness and the adoption of sustainability best practices.
• Engage with customers and partners on key environmental topics, ensuring Oracle's initiatives meet or anticipate stakeholder expectations.
Basic Qualifications
• 6-8 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility roles focused on program management, marketing, and communications.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and storytelling skills, with an ability to adapt messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and keen on learning new domains to solve problems and drive execution.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, global setting.
• Experience in employee engagement, change management, or internal communications.
• A proven track record of aligning sustainability initiatives with business strategy and customer needs.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in data center operations and sustainability is a plus.
• Familiarity with relevant enterprise sustainability software tools.
• Demonstrated capability in leading organizational change and optimizing complex processes in a fast-moving business environment.
• Understanding of key environmental data and reporting standards (e.g., ESRS/CSRD, CDP, GRI, GHGP, TCFD).
• Experience in sales enablement, business development, and customer success.
