Amazon Business EU SARL (UK) is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for World-Wide Operations Sustainability Finance in London. Candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor's degree and experience in finance or related fields. The role involves leading financial analysis for sustainability projects, collaborating with various business units, and influencing business decisions regarding carbon emissions reduction. Key skills include advanced SQL, financial reporting, and project management.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) - Six Sigma Black Belt - Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field - Experience in accounts receivable or account payable - Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis - Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

Amazon is seeking a high performing Senior Finance Analyst to partner with the World-Wide Sustainability Operations team supporting our carbon emissions reduction goals. As a Senior Financial Analyst of WW Operations Sustainability Finance (WWOSF), you will be a finance leader partnering across various business units and geographies (US, EU, JP, ROW) within operations as well as with the central Worldwide Amazon Sustainability team. You will identify opportunities, lead projects, provide guidance and ensure proper reporting is in place for the new and evolving carbon reporting requirements. As a key member of the WWOSF team, you will directly influence business decisions including investments, pricing models, and long term strategy. This is an exciting role for a Senior Financial Analyst who enjoys influencing both strategy and tactical execution, has a passion for innovation and thrives from working with senior leadership. Key job responsibilities • Leading financial analysis and due diligence for sustainability projects • Engaging with partner teams to align on long term strategy and consolidate carbon emissions forecast • Running financial review meetings with business groups and working with business managers to quantify and report on initiatives and projects • Creating, improving, and maintaining financial metrics, reports and scorecards • Communicating financial and business results including variance analyses to senior business leaders
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
